This is the first letter of this kind I have ever written.  My husband and I have undertaken many remodeling and home maintenance projects in the 3 homes we have owned, and most have been done by very competent people.  However, I want you to know that the crews you sent to clean up our basement when our sewer line backed up last week were far more than competent,  they were outstanding.  The combination of pride in their work, knowledge, intelligence, efficiency, thoroughness, and customer service all led to an exemplary job. They gave us peace of mind during a major crisis, we are grateful for that. Wish everyone who worked on our home displayed the same qualities as your employees.  THANK YOU!

Two of your employee’s just left my home after handling a trauma cleanup.  I wanted to tell you that these two young men (Mike and Randy) were on time, but most important, they were very courteous, professional and understanding.  My son and sister-in-law were downstairs in the event the employees needed anything.  We did have a big problem that they called in about but they handled the conversation with the family with the utmost courtesy.  I know this is not easy work for anyone to do, but to have employees who are sensitive to the needs and emotion of a heart broken family is truly not the “norm”.  Everyone that I have been in contact with at your company has been nothing but helpful and kind.  I have no problem in recommending your company for any type of work.  Please let Mike and Randy know how much I appreciate their kindness, professionalism and speed.  They made it a lot easier on all of us who were left to pick up the pieces of my brother’s life.

I just wanted to send a note of thanks to you and your fine employees for your efforts on our behalf.  Yesterday, Diane, Rob and Randy arrived promptly at 8:30am to pick up my furniture, which had been exposed to chimney dust/debris from a problem we had earlier in the year.  Your team was prompt, worked diligently to pack and protect our furniture.  Several pieces of my furniture are a bit unique, bulky and very heavy.  Your team handled all of my furniture with great care, always with a smile and a fabulous attitude! I am writing in regards to Lora who has headed the restorative efforts on my behalf, after a house fire.  I cannot possibly praise her and her staff of co-workers high enough.  They have been just wonderful and Lora has been a source of comfort to me every time I speak to her.  I can’t begin to tell you what a great asset she is to your company, and what a great comfort she is to those that have gone through such a loss as the loss of their home and belongings.  She is never too busy to take a call, or look for a needed item.  I really feel your company is blessed to have her and I too feel blessed anytime I need to speak with her about certain needs such as needing a title to my car.  My heartfelt thanks to Lora, her co-workers and your company.

I just wanted to take a minute to express my sincere appreciation for the professional and courteous manner in which Ana dealt with our office following our office fire last August.  Ana was always willing to answer my questions, and if she didn’t know the answer, she would find the information I needed, or direct me to someone who could help.  Sometimes, she would just listen to me and give an encouraging word, when I became overwhelmed with the job at hand.  Her calm demeanor was very much appreciated.  When our staff needed specific documents, she would locate the material (not an easy task with 300+ boxes to go through) and get them ready for me in a very timely manner.  As materials were restored and ready to be brought back to the island, Ana and her crew would efficiently unload the truck and neatly stack the boxes for us again, no an easy task.  Ana is a jewel.  She made this very difficult time easier to deal with and I will always be grateful for her kind and friendly manner.

I want to take time out to thank you and the whole RESTORx team and especially Jody, Wayne and Ryan for an excellent job in providing an outstanding service to our district during its’ time in need.  The January 2009 flood was one of our most devasting floods that the district has experienced in recent years.  RESTORx responded with expedience and provided excellent service in getting our schools open in a record time period.  If one was able to see the damage on Friday morning, there was no way they would have thought that we would be opening school on Monday morning.  With the expertise of RESTORx we not only were able to open school but were able to continue the cleanup and repairs with the minimum amount of disruption to the school. Again, I want to thank the entire RESTORx team and feel free to use Snoqualmie Valley School District as a reference, and if or when we are in need of assistance due to another disaster, RESTORx will be my first phone call.

Dear RESTORx Volunteers,

I would like to personally thank all of you for your part in making this first BOMA/DESC work day a huge success.  It amazes me to see everyone come together and accomplish so much in such a short period of time.  In walking through the various projects it was also great to see everyone get to know each other and making a good time out of a special work day that provided completion of so many needed projects.
